Autumn Exhibitions, Culture, and Shows
The exhibition “In riva al Mare” in Lignano Sabbiadoro, open until October 11th, features original illustrations, notebooks, and plates from Elisabetta Mitrovic’s book “In riva al Mare – A Practical Guide for Coastal Explorers.” This exhibition, held at the Municipal Library, explores the beauty and biodiversity of the coast through an artistic and naturalistic approach, with the aim of promoting knowledge and awareness of this ecosystem.
For mystery lovers, the city hosts the Lignano Noir Festival, dedicated to the writer Giorgio Scerbanenco, who used the town as his source of inspiration. Although many events take place in the summer, some festival-related initiatives continue into the fall.
In parallel, the regular program of the Lignano Summer Show extends until November, with shows and evening entertainment for those who want to enjoy music or entertainment even out of season.

On October 11–12, 2025, Lignano will host the Lignano International Triathlon, featuring Olympic and Sprint distances, with top swimmers, cyclists and runners competing in the streets and seaside.
From October 17 to 19, Lignano Pineta, especially Piazza Marcello d’Olivo, will host the AiCS Footbike Eurocup National Championship – three full days dedicated to the joy of balance and speed on footbikes.
Then, from October 20 to 26, the 6th Ping Pong Parkinson World Championship will take place at Bella Italia Efa Village, bringing together athletes, enthusiasts, and advocates for inclusion.
